About International School of Medicine
The International School of Medicine was established in year 1993. It is a structurual sub-division of the IUK i.e. International University of Kyrgyzstan. The main motive for creation of ISM was to reform the Kyrgyz education system in to a modern educational institution that should provide high quality medical education to domestic & international students from around the world. Today, International School of Medicine is among the best medical colleges in Russia. The International School of Medicine is a private institution and and functions under the regulations of Ministry of Health of Kyrgyz Republic & Ministry of Education & Science of Kyrgyz Republic. It is recognized by WHO (World Health Organization) & MCI (Medical Council of India). The year when the university was established, it had 13 student enrollments and today more than 3800 students from various countries including India, UK, Russia, Japan, Nepal, Turkey and many more are studying in International School of Medicine.
The university offers MBBS medical course in English medium to foreign students for MBBS admission in Kyrgyzstan. The duration of MBBS course is 5 years. International School of Medicine has long been among the top and most renowned medical colleges in Kyrgyzstan. The International School of Medicine focuses only on providing general medicine training to all students. The following departments are active at the university viz. department of humanitarian sciences, public health, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, surgery, scientific disciplines, clinical & fundamental disciplines, internal medicine, therapy, pathology & anatomy. The university currently has 3 campuses i.e. Issykul campus, East campus & the central campus. The Issykul campus of the International School of Medicine is located in the heart of city while the other 2 campuses are located in other parts of the city. Study in International School of Medicine
International School of Medicine has it’s own hostels for providing accommodation to international students. There are several hostels, some of which are located within the campus region and some are located in other parts of the city. All hostels have separate blocks for boys & girls. All hostels are very well equipped with all modern facilities like security systems, CCTV monitoring, fire alarms, etc. All floors of hostels has common washrooms, toilets, kitchens, etc. Students who are interested in other activities like physical work outs can also use the gym facility available in hostel. Reading hall is available in each hostel for those who prefer to study in silence. All rooms have study table, chair, lamps, wardrobes, bed, bed sheets pre installed before the time of arrival of fresh batch of students from India.
