Kharkiv National Medical University :
Kharkiv National Medical University was found in 1805 and is one of the oldest medical universities for MBBS in Ukraine. Earlier it was known by the name Kharkiv Medical Institute & then in year 2007 was updated from Kharkiv State Medical University to Kharkiv National Medical University. The university has 56 operational departments which provide best of modern training & practical experience to students. The courses are available in Russian as well as English medium for foreign students. Currently, more than 7,000 students are studying in Kharkiv National Medical University out of which more than 2,200 students are from foreign countries especially from India who are pursing MBBS in Kharkiv.
Kharkiv National Medical University has the following faculties : Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Stomatology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing & Faculty of Post Graduate Education. The faculty of medicine witnesses the maximum number of admissions each year from Ukraine as well as other countries. Foreign students take MBBS admission in Kharkiv in English medium and undergo a training perid of 6 years during which they are given ample exposure to theoretical as well as practical classes in various hospitals located in the vast city of Kharkiv. Students who wish to study MBBS in Kharkiv National Medical University must fulfil the eligbility criteria for admission and then only can be granted admission to university.
